This letter is to inform you that on March 20, 2026, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) ints to void Importer of Record (IOR) number [REDACTED], effective for entries filed on and after 12:01am eastern time on March 20, 2026.

CBP is taking this action because we have identified concerns regarding the accuracy of the data submitted on the CBP Form 5106 for this IOR. As stated on the CBP Form 5106 in the section entitled, "Consequences of Failure to Provide Information," failure to provide data on the form will result in the denial of an assigned IOR number. This includes the failure to provide accurate data.

Providing inaccurate data on a CBP Form 5106 not only impedes CBPs ability to verify the IORs identity but also may have a nexus to evading legal requirements, including any financial liability that may arise in relation to the IORs importation activity. Therefore, effective March 20, 2026, CBP is voiding the assigned IOR number until and unless CBP determines that it has received sufficient information to warrant reestablishing the IOR number.

If before March 20, 2026, you would like to request that this IOR remain active, the additional information listed below will be necessary to corroborate the identity of the IOR and legitimacy of the information submitted on CBP Form 5106. If CBP does not receive a satisfactory response before March 20, 2026, CBP will void this IOR number without additional notice.

To request that CBP maintain the active status of this IOR number, please coordinate through your licensed customs broker to email the below documents and information to cee-AAEntry@cbp.dhs.gov using the subject line "IOR number [REDACTED] Verification".

An d CBP Form 5106 with all the mandatory data elements filled out. All information provided on the CBP Form 5106 must be accurate and verifiable.

These documents must have been received by the IOR from the IRS and clearly list the IORs EIN. (Documents submitted by the IOR to the IRS are not accep). Examples of accep documentation include the following: 147C, 1040, 2363, 941/941V, SS-4, 1065, 8109/8109C, 7004, 355-ES, 1096, and 1120/1120S. A valid Power of Attorney between the IOR (the grantor) and the licensed customs broker (the grantee) who is submitting this information.

Please be advised that CBP may further request in-person verification at a port of entry or virtual verification to review the above documentation. If you have questions regarding this matter or are seeking to reestablish this IOR number after March 20, 2026, please contact the CBP Center at cee-AAEntry@cbp.dhs.gov.
