The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Silicon metal 每 institution and scheduling of preliminary phase of AD injury investigations of silicon metal from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, and Malaysia and CV injury investigation of silicon metal from Kazakhstan, with written comments due by July 24

Thermal paper 每 continuation of AD and CV duty orders on lightweight thermal paper from China, effective July 6

Transformers 每 dumping margins of 12.44 and 16.13 percent in amed final results of administrative review of large power transformers from Korea for the period Aug. 1, 2013, through July 31, 2014, due to court decision

Wind towers 每 (1) final affirmative AD duty determinations on utility scale wind towers from Canada (dumping margin of 4.94 percent), Korea (5.41 percent), Indonesia (8.53 percent), and Vietnam (65.96 percent); (2) final affirmative CV duty determinations on utility scale wind towers from Canada (net subsidy rate of 1.18 percent), Indonesia (5.9 percent), and Vietnam (2.84 percent; (3) final negative critical circumstances determinations in AD duty investigations of Canada and Indonesia and CV duty investigations of Canada and Vietnam, and (4) final affirmative critical circumstances determinations in AD duty investigations of Korea and Vietnam and CV duty investigation of Indonesia

Wire mesh 每 institution and scheduling of preliminary phase of AD and CV injury investigations of standard steel welded wire mesh from Mexico, with comments due by July 24

Copper pipe 每 institution and scheduling of preliminary phase of AD injury investigation of seamless refined copper pipe and tube from Vietnam, with comments due by July 24

Nails 每 dumping margin of 27.28 percent for one exporter/producer in preliminary results of administrative review of AD duty order on steel nails from United Arab Emirates for the period May 1, 2018, through April 30, 2019
Plywood 每 rescission of administrative review of CV duty order on hardwood plywood products from China for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2019, and instruction to CBP to assess CV duties on such goods at the applicable cash deposit rates

Potassium permanganate 每 rescission of administrative review of AD duty order on potassium permanganate from China for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2019, and instruction to CBP to assess AD duties on such goods at the applicable cash deposit rates

Tires 每 rescission of administrative review of AD duty order on truck and bus tires from China for the period Feb. 15, 2019, through Jan. 31, 2020, and instruction to CBP to assess AD duties on such goods at the applicable cash deposit rates

Alcohol 每 sunset review determination that revocation of AD duty order on tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol from China would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping at margins up to 136.86 percent

Corrosion inhibitors 每 affirmative preliminary CV duty determination on corrosion inhibitors from China and new requirement for CV cash deposits at rates of 54.37 to 237.19 percent

Corrosion-resistant steel 每 final determinations that (1) Chinese substrate shipped to Costa Rica and the United Arab Emirates for minor processing and then exported to the U.S. as corrosion-resistant steel products is circumventing the AD and CV duty orders on CORE from China and (2) CORE exported from Guatemala is not circumventing these orders because it was not made with Chinese substrate

Manganese dioxide 每 continuation of AD duty order on electrolytic manganese dioxide from China, effective July 8

Xanthan gum 每 dumping margin of 8.69 percent for one exporter/producer combination in amed final affirmative dumping determination on xanthan gum from China
Ferrovanadium 每 dumping margin of 54.69 percent in final results of administrative review of AD duty order on ferrovanadium from Korea for the period May 1, 2018, through April 30, 2019
Matchbooks 每 sunset review determination that revocation of CV duty order on commodity matchbooks from India would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of countervailable subsidies of 9.88 percent
Oil country tubular goods 每 (1) sunset review determination that revocation of AD duty orders on OCTG from India, Korea, Turkey, Ukraine, and Vietnam and CV duty orders on OCTG from India and Turkey would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time, (2) dumping margin of zero for one exporter in final results of administrative review of AD duty order on OCTG from Vietnam for the period Sept. 1, 2017, through Aug. 31, 2018, and (3) dumping margins of zero and 3.96 percent in final results of administrative review of AD duty order on OCTG from Korea for the period Sept. 1, 2017, through Aug. 31, 2018
